These brownies are exceptionally rich, decadent, fudgy, and absolutely delicious: all the things you want in a brownie! Oh, and they're made in just one bowl, so you're not left with a kitchen full of dirty dishes!

Ingredients
12 Tbsp. unsalted butter (¾ cup)
8 ounces Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
2 cups granulated sugar
2 ½ tsp real vanilla extract or vanilla paste
3 large eggs
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup (120 grams) all-purpose flour
2 ounces Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F
2. Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper
3. Cut the butter into 2-3 inch cubes
4. Combine 2 ounces of the semi-sweet chocolate chips and the butter in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20 second increments, whisking in between, for approximately 1 to 1 ½ minutes. The mixture will be completely smooth, melted, and glossy when it’s done.
5. Add the sugar to the chocolate and butter mixture, whisking until combined
6. Add the vanilla and eggs, one at a time, whisking until combined
7. Add the cocoa powder, salt, and flour and mix together gently with a spatula until almost combined.
8. Add the remaining 6 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 2 ounces of milk chocolate chips and mix until just combined. Do not overmix!
9. Bake brownies in the preheated oven for 28-32 minutes. After 28-30 minutes, check brownies with a toothpick - you should see damp crumbs, but no wet batter.
10. Remove the pan from the oven and let cool completely before cutting
